1. Description of Service

PawseKeys is a software utility designed to temporarily disable your Mac keyboard for safety, cleaning, pet-proofing, or toddler-proofing.

  • PawseKeys PRO: Allows full keyboard blocking with a single click or a global hotkey. Includes remote blocking via Apple Watch (when connected to the same network as the Mac) and timed-blocking features.
  • PawseKeys LITE (App Store Version): Provides basic blocking capabilities. Due to App Store sandbox limitations and specific API restrictions, some keys (such as media keys, volume, and power keys related to accessibility) may remain active.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

2. Software License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, and non-exclusive license to use PawseKeys for your own use. You may not:

  • Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code.
  • Redistribute, lease, or resell the software without explicit written permission.

3. Payments and Billing

Our order process for the PRO version is conducted by our online reseller, Lemon Squeezy.

  • Merchant of Record: Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all PRO orders. They handle customer service inquiries and returns.
  • Pricing: Prices are subject to change at any time.
  • Subscriptions: If you choose a subscription plan, it renews automatically unless canceled through your account dashboard or the Lemon Squeezy portal.
  • App Store Purchases: For the LITE version or in-app purchases via the Mac App Store, billing and subscriptions are managed exclusively by Apple.

4. Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with PawseKeys.

  • PRO Version: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If the software does not work as advertised or if you are unsatisfied, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase through Lemon Squeezy or by contacting support.
  • LITE Version (App Store): Refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple's refund policy and must be requested directly through Apple Support.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, graphics, and original code associated with PawseKeys are the exclusive property of Pablo Junior Campina.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PawseKeys and its creator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data, hardware damage, or loss of profits) arising from use of, or inability to use, the software.

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Significant updates are indicated by the Last Updated date at the top of this document. Continued use after updates means acceptance of the revised terms.
